I'm not sure when to ask this girl...

Okay!

There is a girl in my Biology (college) class that sits near me that's pretty cute that I want to get to know better. I've sorta kinda broken the ice a little already by asking her what I missed on a day I was absent. I also already got a battle plan laid out to talk to her again, but it will probably only be a few funny lines and a complement, followed by me introducing myself, and then me asking her how her 3 day weekend for labor day went. Then after class I'd say bye to her.

So anyway, I want to ask her if she wants to go get a coffee at McDonalds where I can attempt to woo her over with a 1.35$ (McDonalds is like 300ish yards from the college parking lot, plus I'm poor). I'm planning to do this the next time I meet her after the above paragraph happens. Would that be too soon, or should I talk to her another time or two just to make sure she feels comfortable around me (there's a good chance shes retardedly shy)? I have a funny way of asking her so I don't think I'll come off as creepy or anything, but I don't want her to be uncomfortable with it.

Additional info: My confidence level is probably a 6.5/10 right now and this would be the first time I met a girl that wasn't through a friend ): . So I'd feel more comfortable with it if I got a few opinions, specially from socially awkward females.

So go for it or wait?

If she's smiling and laughing at your jokes, yeah go for it. Or if she's smiling and laughing maybe you can call it a day there and ask for her to have coffee the next time. Hahah she may be "retardedly shy", nervous(maybe she thinks you're cute), or perhaps she's disinterested. But I think you should go for it.

Go for it dude. its school, so its safe to bet that your not the olny guy thats wanting her. be confident dont over think the situation, dont try to wait for "perfect" moment, and if your bold enough just walk up to her even if shes surrounded by her friends and ask her out.
