But if you're normal or above I don't think most men think about it. I'm on the upper end of average and rarely ever think about penis size. It doesn't help my confidence with handling women whatsoever though. I've just had to learn through life to not give a **** how dealings with women turn out.

Usually empirical, epidemiological evidence suggests that there is truth to the variable of interest.. in this particular case, penis size (length vs. girth). Most of these studies consist of 100-500 individuals of varying races, heights, weights, etc... look them up for yourself. I'm sure you have a 7" penis too, huh?

To me having a big dick could help the women to appreciate you more, but I don’t see it as the key to success for meeting women or even a better class of women, not unless you wear tight fitting pants. I don’t know, maybe if I had a big dick I would think different, but I find it hard to imagine having your life fall down around you but still having a big grin on your dial for the rest of the day simply from taking a look at your dick each morning. I laugh when I've seen these ads promoting enlarging pills which have an accompanying picture of some shoe gazing guy at a club on his own with all these hot chicks standing nearby laughing, with a caption like 'is a below average penis stopping women from finding you attractive'. I really like to think these ads don't work. What comes to mind after reading that article are a couple of comments made by less well endowed guys in this regard. One was from a body builder who was being given sh*t over taking roids and its effect on shrinking the size of his package. He said it didn’t faze him. When he walks in a room women notice the size of his muscles not his crotch. Being 20% bigger didn’t boost his prospects any before getting on the juice. The other from the comedian Doug Stanhope, who admits to having a small dick. He said women don’t realize he is not well endowed or a lousy lover until its too late by then he is already naked and on top of her and has already cum. Chances are his personality and her sobering up was not going to get him a 2nd date so its effect on his sex life is not that big a deal. As a thin build guy, having a 9" dick wouldn't have helped me pull women any better in club. If I was below average in size then I would definitely be self conscious of it, unless I was able to offset it by being a very masculine guy. I have the impression that part of the attraction for big guys with women is they think, bigger guy = bigger dick. I'd like to hear comments from the women on LS in this regard. I know a couple of women have been pleasantly surprised with me, as if they expected a skinny dick. And as for any well endowed guys here on LS, have you ever promoted the fact to a woman to help to win her over...and it worked more than it failed!
