Ok, so I've read lots about how hard it is for a guy to approach a girl when she's with a gaggle of girlfriends, but what about the other way around? I keep finding myself in this situation. And let me also preface this by saying I am a freaking wuss when it comes to approaching guys. I don't know why. I am very confident is every other aspect of my life...just always have been shy in this regard.

The following is usually the type of situation I am talking about. I go to a bar with one or two friends. Not a club, not a jam-packed-there's-no-where-to-sit type of bar. But a place where there are booths and seats at the bar, or everyone is chilling on a patio with their happy hour beer or something. And I catch the eye of a guy, who happens to be sitting at another table with 4-5 friends, co-workers,etc... who knows. Then there's lots of looks exchanged. Clearly there's interest.

Now, in my mind here are my options. A) Waltz up to the table, solo, standing there like a damn waitress hovering over the table and introduce myself? yea...I can tell you right now THAT'S not happening. B) Walk by the table on my way to the bathroom, linger by the bathrooms hoping that he also conveniently has to go to the bathroom at the same time and we 'run' into each other outside of the bathrooms (ok so this is what I've done. It's worked 0% of the time for me.haha) Or....???

LS, what are your ideas?

How bout something in the middle of those 2 options... like, WAVE from across the room if he's clearly looking at you and then see what happens.

I like this - if he doesn't respond to a wave from you then he's either dense, a chicken, or you mistook his interest.
