Lakeside_runner Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 So... I am setup for a coffee date this Friday with a very nice girl. We met on an online dating service, e-mailed each other a couple of times, exchanged numbers and I called her on Monday to set up a meeting for this Friday. We had a really good conversation - not awkward at all etc. So - I haven't e-mailed or called her since then. Should I e-mail her or call just to check in or not? I would say - no, but I don't want her to loose interest or think that I've lost interest. Opinions? Thanks!
USMCHokie Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 Definitely call her Thursday evening to confirm the Friday plans and to ask her how her week went. Once you've scheduled the first date, I don't think there's any need to revert back to email before that date... Wow, it's Thursday already...?
Hot Carl Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 Your problem is you're worried about what she thinks. The question is what do you think? Do you want to talk to her? Call her. Do you want to send her an email? Email her. Don't want to do either? Then don't, but then I'd say don't you like her enough want to communicate with her? Quit worrying about what she thinks and do what you want to do.
Author Lakeside_runner Posted September 2, 2010 Author Posted September 2, 2010 Thanks Hot Carl - that is a very solid piece of advice. I am not worried of what she thinks. Yes - I want to call her tomorrow to confirm the plans and ask her how her week was (as USMC said). Yeah - I'll pick up the phone tomorrow Thanks!

D-Lish Posted September 2, 2010 Posted September 2, 2010 Yep- it's good to confirm. Me personally, I'd be fine with either a phone or e-mail confirmation- either will do.
