Seems that everyone of opposite sex is already here with significant other...

Step 2) GO OUT AND DO Things LIKE hit the beach, eat good food, drink good drinks (don't get drunk in a foreign country just a light buz or you will be a target)(really you should never get drunk but especialy not now) Step 3) Be friendly with MEN and WOMEN don't make it about just getting laid.... and when you happen to see an attractive women have fun FLIRTING and try ASKING HER OUT and then if you get her on a date KISS her. You know what to do. Just be yourself and stop stressing and being SCARED just have FUN enjoy the food the sights and TRY. and ENJOY trying.
a_woman Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 how long is the vacation? are you in a conservative country where women aren't out much by themselves? in that case it's best to go to places where NGOs go (they have lots of local contact). if it's a relaxed country then just chat to people in the tourist areas, everyone is used to talking to foreigners there
Author kahn2154 Posted August 30, 2010 Author Posted August 30, 2010 I'm defintely meeting people but its a beach resort in europe which means lots of topless sunbathing which means lots of hot chicks which leads me to wanting to hook up with some girl I hit beach two days in a row, but by myself, taking shirt off was big step as is didn't know how to react if someone asked me about scars on my chest. Now I am as red as a lobster, does that mean I should stay out of sun and have an excuse to keep shirt on and hang out with people while they tan? I don't drink alcohol I apparently don't know how to flirt I'm in Portugal, but in algraves so its a tourist hotspot for most of Europe. What is NGOs?

Are Portuguese girls conservative? not at all, sober people don't usually spend hours in a bar though Probably not Lisbon girls but maybe small town girls are conservative. I can't imagine you would meet a huge number of Portuguese girls in the Algarve, they definitely won't be the topless ones

a_woman Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 it's not that I'm familiar with the Algarve so much, I just know Southern Europe / the Mediterranean quite well. those people you see in groups are tourists that arrived in the place together. the best chance to meet women are bars where younger ones (from 18+ as in Europe you can drink from that age) go to. you are not likely to pick up a 30-year-old unless she likes to party. just check out where other blokes go, maybe befriend other men and hang out with them, ask where to pick up girls, etc. you are not likely to meet many local girls though especially as they are Catholic, more likely to pick up a Brit or a German or other Northern Europeans. they are more liberal in general. by and large it's better to go on holiday by yourself where backpackers go because it's easy to befriend them. when you stay at more upmarket accommodation the people around you are usually less open, more middle class, settled, etc

In the future use sunscreen and STAY IN THE SHADE... pay for one of those umbrellas and always be in the shade. Just being at the beach and watching those topless girls must be great fun. Take some pics lol and link me to that sht haha. anyways just go up and talk to all those hot girls you see. TRY SOMETHING... right now all you do is ask for advice.... its pointless you need TO TRY THINGS. Its like playing a game... you have to play and lose to learn. All you are doing is watching from the side lines. Just make it up as you go along and I gaurantee it will work... stop just watching ... and go up and say random stuff that comes to your minde "you are beautiful lets have lunch" just try random crap that pops into your head.. BE YOURSELF.

LOL that would be really creepy taking pics Thats the stuff I'm not good at, actually talked to girl I told you about from other day and my mind just went blank honestly I try to hard to say something cool/funny and I have no idea what to say, so just ask random questions and let them talk.

Obviously it might be over the top creepy if you do this at a topless beach... but taking pictures of a pretty girl is a great way to flirt IMO "I want to take your picture you are beautiful" then the girl will ask to see the picture... then she might even like the picture and want you to email it to her... just start trying some crap... AND STAY OUT OF THE SUN... IMO you can go to the beach and stay in the shade... you don't want to get more sunburned.
