I sent a message to this girl and she took about 2-3 days to respond, although it showed her online every day. When she responded she sent a long message and then at the end said she looked forward to hearing from me soon. I responded later that day. Then 2 more days go by, I see she is online often and has logged in and added new pictures. I still haven't heard back from her though. Don't worry I won't put all my eggs in one basket.. You don't need to tell me "forget about it and message other people". Just wondering for future knowledge, is this response time a sign she isn't very interested?
curlygirl40 Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 Well the problem is there is no right answer. I will sometimes do this myself. Because getting on my Match page and reading someone's e-mail or looking at winks is quick and easy. But seems like sometimes I have to be in a certain 'mood', or have enough time to respond. Putting together a well thought out e-mail takes more effort than to go online and read someone else's e-mail, for me anyway. However there's also the chance that she has someone else who she's talking to who she's more interested in, and she's putting you off for a couple of days intentionally hoping to see what will happen with this other person before things heat up with you. The other possibility is that she is intentionally making you wait so you'll pursue her. I'm sure there's more but that's what I can think of off the top of my head.
yah Posted August 30, 2010 Posted August 30, 2010 I'm not well versed in online dating but girls do that IRL too during the courting stage. Miss some of the calls. Don't respond immediately to his texts/emails. Pretend to be busy even if you are not. You get the idea. It's a game, learn to play!
