chancellor Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 I'm a new immigrant and this forum has been very helpful when dating! If I go on a nice date that's kind of formal, should I expect or initiate a note to say thank you? Would it be better by email or regular mail? If a woman does that, would guys in North America think she is too keen or too formal?
lso802 Posted August 28, 2010 Posted August 28, 2010 It's not the usual protocol for dating in the US. You could just call or text the guy "thanks for the date" or "I had a great time. Thanks". That would be more than enough. I don't really like email myself as that just feels generic to me. Might as well not send one at all. People are different though.
