saiveca Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 I work with this guy and we sometimes email late at night when we work on common assignments. He recently sent me an email to tell me to 'sleep well'. Do you think he was being flirty?
alclarkey Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 I disagree with the above. To an extent. I hate to admit it, but I'm really not very cordial. So if I say something nice like that I'm probably flirting with you. If the guy is normally just kind of a "minds-his-own-business" kind of guy and says something like that it's a possible flirt. Or he could just be a nice guy. In any case if you're wondering you should try and push the issue a little bit.
Author saiveca Posted August 26, 2010 Author Posted August 26, 2010 I read in a magazine that wishing someone sweet dreams or sleep well is a fairly personal thing. More so than 'good evening'. Is that true?
refurb Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 Sweet dreams? Yes, has a flirty edge to it. Sleep well? Nope, I would have no problem saying that to someone who I wasn't interested in. RF
