He was being flirty with me, and we ended up talking more one-on-one toward the end of the night. I was kind of drunk (he actually seemed more sober than I). He walked me back to my apartment so that I could get my laptop to show him something that I wrote which he wanted to hear, and so I could get into dry clothes (we had been in the pool). I told him to wait outside and he commented that me being firm with him turned him on, and told me to "go put on something sexy." So obviously it seemed that sex was the main thing on the mind which isnt surprising. He did ask me about my past relationships (not sure why) but anyway... I went back to his apartment to hang out with him and his friends who were over there. We watched a movie and everyone else started going to sleep. After the movie we fooled around .. Didn't have sex but just a lot of fooling around, touching, making out, etc. I slept over there with him on the couch, then the next morning he gave me his number before I left. A couple minutes later I sent him a text just to give him my number too. He didn't respond to it until the evening and said his phone had died and couldnt find his charger, which is why it took him so long to reply. I responded by saying it was alright, I had just texted him to give him my number. He didn't reply to that and by the next day I figured perhaps he'd only replied to that first text to be polite and he probably didn't actually want to see me again. However, that evening I got a text from him which said "What are you doin". Seemed like a pretty random text but I told him I was coming back home from playing pool. He asked where I'd played, and asked me what I was having for dinner that night. I said pasta... so he asked if it had meat in it... then told me he really likes meat.. and I said I love meat pasta and my mom makes it the best... then no reply to that. The next day I heard nothing from him. I figured I'd let him text me again first since he hadn't responded to that last text. So ummm... is there some reason why this guy I fooled around with for a night texted me to talk about really random stuff (pasta?)... do you think he was just bored? actually interested? trying to keep me around for a possible weekend booty call?? I actually didn't wanna risk being dumb and texting him anything because I figured if he's interested, he will initiate something, so I already deleted his number. was that dumb? Serenitynow Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 You are a random hookup. What do you want him to talk to you about which wouldnt cause you to ask questions on here? I'd like to talk to a girl about astronomy and physics, but how far do you think that will get me on a date? .
jadedone Posted August 25, 2010 Posted August 25, 2010 I'm thinking this guy it horrible at getting to the point. He was probably hoping you would invite him over to eat. Maybe he's shy, or he is just bad about being more direct. Some guys wait for the girl to make a move.

I mean I talked to him until he stopped talking to me. If he doesn't talk to me anymore from this point on I'll be a bit confused as to why he texted me the next day to talk about really random things then let it go like that.
