classof2014 Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 I've slowly started to realize that the 3 most important qualities in a man (according to women) are money, looks, and power. Personality comes fourth. So here's my plan. Im gonna get braces, veneers, whiten my teeth like crazy. Im also gonna undergo laser treatment to fix my cleft lip scar and take speech therapy to get rid of my accent. Im also gonna workout everyday so my chest is fully V-shaped and I look like Michael Phelps (minus 4 inches). I then plan on attending yale law school and making lots of money suing the living daylights out of everybody. On top of that, I will be a nice and funny guy that does lots of humanitarian work and is easy to talk to. Will this work?
Author classof2014 Posted August 22, 2010 Author Posted August 22, 2010 After my teeth get fixed and shiny and my nasally accent is corrected and my slight acne is gotten rid of (working on that too), I will look just like joaquin phoenix. I look a lot like him now, minus the teeth, slight acne, and accent. Also, my scar is slightly worse. However, lots of women I know think he's ugly and wouldn't date him because he has a cleft.

OP, I think you're under social pressures to change. I don't know how you will be in 5 years when you actually look like a generic Ken doll but hopefully you'll get women then right?

That is, unless the women you're with catch wind that your motivation doesn't actually stem from an intrinsic drive to better yourself or do good in the world, but rather than a frighteningly over-dramatic desperation to get laid. Then again, there are likely a lot of men like that in the world. So, probably.

It is fine to disagree with my advice and post your own opinion. It is obnoxious and childish to post vague comments about how I have no idea what I am talking about. And this is at least the second time you've done it. It really doesn't reflect well on you. You seem more invested in complaining about other posters than actually providing advice. It is also very clear from your comments about not listening to women that if my screen name was "that person" rather than "that girl" you wouldn't care so much. Women are allowed to express their opinions freely and normal, decent guys don't write them off because they have vaginas. Perhaps you would be more comfortable on a forum devoted to Sharia law.
