I think we are both chicken because we work together. I'm looking for another job so this is not a big obstacle to me. I was thinking of writing her a song. Nothing too romantic, just a nice little song. Do you think that would send her a clear message that I'm interested in more than being friends?

I'd prefer a well- thought out date, maybe a card with a letter (handwritten) for me to read when I'm alone, or day/road trip to somewhere we have in common (lighthouse, zoo, Disney, ). Nothing too heavy.

My advice is you shouldn't write poems or songs until you're deep in a long term relationship.

If not, get going on that the next time you go out.

Hold off on at and concentrate on getting to know each other right now. You mean well, but just wait a little longer.
