isdn00789 Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 Last semester there was a girl in two of my classes who I found myself physically attracted to. I never could convince myself I was really interested enough to ask her out though. I'm not a big partier, and I don't drink at all. Based on some of the things I heard her say, this girl seemed like a big partier/drinker. I had convinced myself it wasn't worth pursuing. However, we did talk a little bit from time to time (she actually started the first conversation), and I had asked her to assist me in a presentation I had to give for class (she agreed, but my project ended up changing). We ended up as friends on Facebook, but we never talk. A while back, when I was out to dinner with some friends, I noticed she was a waitress at the restaurant. She noticed me too, and waved. I didn't get to say hello. I've been back to that restaurant a few times since, and I haven't seen here there. She graduated at the end of last semester, so she may have a different job now. I'm not even 100% sure she is still in town. Obviously, I've decided I'd like to pursue this girl (you never know what might happen), but my options of reconnecting with her seem pretty limited. Would it be a terrible idea for me to ask her via Facebook if she is still in town and working at that restaurant? Keep in mind, I'm not a stranger, but we don't exactly know each other well. Of course, I'm open to clever suggestions on how I could reconnect with this girl. Thanks in advance for your replies!
Confused100 Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 I don't know about any clever suggestions, but I say go ahead and try reconnecting with her via Facebook. If she's still in town, ask her out. Not really much to lose, is there?
