I think all men from India or Pakistan only want to have fun with American women. They lie and say they will marry you and then they change their mind. It's all a game to them and they don't care who they hurt. It must be in their blood.

By Indian I mean having their roots in India. Now we know that due to strict cultural customs and negative stereotypes about Indian men, it is rare to see an Indian guy in an interracial relationship. Also due to the fact that there are not as many Indian men in the US, most people have limited exposure to them. So I will start a poll and survey.

 

Which of the following Interracial couples involving Indian guys have you seen or known?

 

1. Indian guy - White girl

2. Indian guy - Asian girl

3. Indian guy - Latina

4. Indian guy - Black girl

5. Indian guy - Middle Eastern girl

6. Indian guy - Indian girl (by that I mean native lol)

 

 

This and your 2nd post seem to set up your own biased view that white girls like indian guys. If your talking about 'white' as in anglo saxon, WASPy, looking like a european brunette or a nordic blonde, then no, indian male-white female couples are rare.

 

A few points:

 

1. Much like asian male-white female, islander male-white female, and black male - white female is rare. Although the black male-white female couple is more media exposed than any other due to hyper sex role typing.

 

2. Interracial dating is more common today but it is still rare. You say that indians are rare in the US, there's a million of you over there , and yet only a statistically few only inter ethnically date.

 

3. 'white anglo saxon females' generally stick to white anglo saxon males. The only 2 exceptions is when an ethnic looks handsome/hot i.e 'exotic'- looks to be more white caucasian with obvious but minor ethnic admixutres thrown in.................. or............... you fit the stereotype of a hyper masculinized ethnic male- usually African, Native American or Pacific Islander.

 

4. The more 'ethnic' you look, the more stereotyped you will be and the less attractive you will be to other races but your own, especially white anglo saxon females. The only exception is when you still look ethnic but are more adapted culturally to western culture and overcompensate physically and personality wise- adopting white western male masculinity. Even then you would still find it a bit difficult.

 

5. bi-racial people are deemed more attractive because of 3 and 4.

 

6. Just for the record, if we were to talk about racial biology, indians are also caucasians much like italians, and middle easterners. Same genetic stock, different culture and skin color.

 

7. generally Indian men date and marry indian women

Actually Sanjay Gupta, Sendhil Ramamurthy and Naveen Andrews are all married to White women.

 

Plus, Indian parents from what I have heard praise their kids for being with a White person while dating a Hispanic or Black person brings in tons of animosity.

 

I've never heard Indian parents praise their kids for marrying anyone other than another Indian.

 

I'm a white girl and I've been there. It sucked, and I ended the relationship. I called my mom upset about it and she just said, "Don't date Indian anymore." I'm not necessarily going to take that advice if I meet someone great, but I'll be more aware and make sure that their parents are more open-minded first.
