mark.ontario Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 My name is Mark, I'm divorced and I have two boys. My ex-wife cheated on me about three years ago and then she asked for divorce. We went through several legal battles for child custody and it was very difficult for me. Through it all, one of my colleagues was very supportive. She said she thought of me while I was in court, sent me email notes, etc. One time, she even paid me dinner in a nice restaurant just to cheer me up. This friend has been so nice to me that I've kind of developped feelings for her. I've moved out of town but we still share a good meal 4-5 times a year. I now understand how friendships between men and women can be difficult. I wasn't even particularly attracted to this woman but her kindness and generosity have really touched me. It sucks to be a divorced father!
