When you get a sex toy that you really enjoy and that brings you to orgasm, does sex with men seem more dull? Some women can only orgasm through toys, so does sex with men become boring afterwards?

Not at all... Sex toys are the only way I can orgasm, but I still love sex.

In the fact the last guy I was dating bought me a sex toy and wanted to use it when we were having sex. (Because he knows I can't orgasm from sex alone). I thought that was super sweet of him.

A woman I was dating brought a sex toy into the relationship, and it did in fact become more boring afterwards. Here are some tips to avoid such:

When choosing a sex toy, avoid gasoline operated ones with a ripcord that achieve more than 30,000 rpms. Besides the fire hazard, these are often designed with outboard motor engines (the smaller ones are modeled after chainsaws) more suited to boats that overheat quickly. They also tend to burn lots of gas and oil and can so become very expensive to maintain. Some of these have been modified to accept nitrous oxide injection systems, effectively doubling the rpms and increasing the hazards of use accordingly. In addition to the inherent explosion risk, they can cause second and third degree burns when used incorrectly, and often require safety goggles, heavy gloves, and various kill switches to operate without injury.

Also avoid heavy AC devices that require special plugs or adapters and may blow fuses or even start electrical fires in a house's wiring. A woman brought one to my house that required us to set up a special generator in my front yard with the heavy industrial size electric cord leading up to the bedroom, else it would have burnt out my electrical system. Once they figured out what was going on, the neighbors became quite irate, and I had to apply for a special "nonstandard pleasure device use permit" from my housing association. They were hesitant to grant it, the process was mildly embarrassing, and the permit set me back $400.

Another consideration is noise. Try to avoid sex toys that generate greater than 120 decibels, as these can rupture eardrums, require earplugs to use safely, and can also result in broken windows and noise citations. I have seen the "sonic boom" from certain devices blow holes in sheetrock and bend wrought iron bedframes when used incorrectly.

Avoid sex toys that operate using gunpowder charges, such as those modeled from the types of shotgun sticks used to kill great white sharks. While these look fun and harmless, they can cause extreme powder burns and puncture wounds when used incorrectly.

Any metal toys used for beating ones partner should be examined periodically for rust and kept well oiled to avoid tetanus risks. Toys modelled after aluminum softball bats are fine, but just remember that all participants must wear batting helmets and catcher's masks while using them.

One fad involves sex toys made from reconditioned carnival rides. These require a large backyard to use together with extensive privacy fencing. For those with the means though, this seems to be the next big thing. It is amazing what an old tilt-a-whirl device rebuilt for sexual function can do to liven up a couple's sex life.

There is more, but that hits the high points where safe sex toy use is concerned.

In my experience they bring a little spark and variety into the bedroom, that's all. I don't have trouble achieving O through non-mechanical means, however, and we just occasionally use toys or tools together, just for something different. If we used them all the time it might get a little monotonous, idk. If we did anything the same way every time it would probably get monotonous.

Personally I find the climax with a sex toy to be interesting, and a little different, but not better than the orgasm with a man. Sometimes the orgasm with a man is better, as it takes a little longer to reach so there's more tension build-up. Plus I prefer the human contact, overall.

Occasionally I go toy-shopping with my husband, or he will surprise me with something new. It's just a little bit of fun, a sexual positive rather than a negative.

Can nobody find the sex forum anymore?

It actually made sex more pleasurable for me, rather than less.
