Pfiend101 Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Well I know its been covered but I'm going to ask again. I was at a Restaurant today with my buddy and this very pretty girl seated us. We glanced back and forth here and there for about 30 minutes. I knew I needed to get out of my shell and just start asking girls out so I went for it on the way out. I introduced myself and asked her if she liked animals because I was looking for someone to go to the zoo with. She said that would be fun So I asked for her # and she gave it to me. She said "Text me" I told her to have a good day and that was it. So here's the question when to text/call I'm thinking tomorrow night. I don't wanna play games but I know calling/texting right away can seem needy. When would you contact her?

If a girl would get freaked out about me texting her the same night; I hope she ignores it and never contacts me again. Really, I don't want ignorant shallow girls. The question you should ask yourself is why you are giving this so much thought. Why do you care? It shows insecurity.

I agree with this. I also think that when you only met someone briefly (and as a hostess, she wouldn't have had much time with him), it is even more problematic to wait several days because the woman might not remember who you are. You have more leeway if you talked for an hour at a party because odds are she will rememver you. But even then, I would be very unlikely to call back a guy who waited 6 days.

You could tell her you found her number while you were cleaning out your wallet, and can't remember where you met. You'll ask her what she looks like and then ask her if you guys f*cked. How about that? Would that be money?
