Thebob Posted August 13, 2010 Posted August 13, 2010 So I been with my girl for 2 months, and I have managed to run in to every single girl that I have talked to in the past within these 2 months which is freaking weird in my opinion. BUt anyhow funny story is, a girl that I was serious with ended up coming to this same house party that is 30 minutes from her house last night. I have only kinda talked to her 4 times since this time, but no actual face to face interaction for one year. We had a bad break up and I kinda was hurt about the whole thing for awhile and I told her not to talk to me until next summer from last summer. Anyways when she showed up I was absolutely freaked out kinda. Like how the heck could she know these people? I instantly went to my new girlfriend and told her what's up and she told me to go up and talk to her to not make things awkward in which I did. We talked maybe for 5 minutes then from that point on my ex wasn't really talking to anybody, she would sit outside by herself not joining the group right in front of her and every time she saw me and I looked back she would instantly look away to pretend like she wasn't looking. It was like as if she wanted to talk to me but didn't know what to say, or she still has feelings for me and felt the urge to consistently look at me. You know the feeling as if someone is watching you and you can kinda see it with your peripherals? So when I left I just gave all her friends and her a hug and told her that "it was great seeing you and I'll see you around". The beginning interaction was just asking about her family and brother and what not then she asked me about work and that was pretty much it. Did I handle this correctly? And what's even weirder is that I had a dream that I saw her 2-3 days before that. She saw me with my new girl obviously, and I think she was kinda looking at me as if I had moved on and didn't really give a rats ass about her anymore. She has a new boyfriend as well for 8-9 months. So anyways, I thought this was weird and I would like peoples opinions on this..... Thebob

Maybe she was embarrassed or regretting the past or something. And I am asking if having a miniature conversation with her was the appropriate way to go or should I have ignored her since NC is NC?
