sunrae Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 Someone from your past (an ex)that you liked pops back in, no rhym or reason. You start hanging out having a good time enjoying each others company. You finally ask them whats going on and they tell you, they care about you, wants to takes things slow(move at a snails pace) as to not "F" things up again because they know they are not going to get a third chance.
phineas Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 Define "slow". And is this a woman from the past or a man?
Author sunrae Posted August 12, 2010 Author Posted August 12, 2010 The is a guy 35... His definition of slow is a "snails pace".
USMCHokie Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 Well well well...look who the cat dragged in... Men who are actually interested and emotionally healthy and mature enough for a real relationship don't move at a snail's pace...

I think you just hit the nail on the head. I'm not sure if he is emotionally mature for it. I'm beggining to wonder...
Feelin Frisky Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 Depends who that someone is. If it is Clarabeth I'd say let's go for it, if it is Donna I'd hold up a crucifix and yell begone vampire.
Author sunrae Posted August 12, 2010 Author Posted August 12, 2010 The someone isa guy I dated briefly, about 8 months ago, who had just gotten out of a long term relationship when we met. We hit it off, but he wasnt ready to jump into anything else, so he asked for time and now he's back around. We hang out some, and really enjoy each others company, but he says he wants to take things slow and see what developes.
phineas Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 The is a guy 35... His definition of slow is a "snails pace". I meant slow as in no sex. Or slow as in no commitment.
Author sunrae Posted August 12, 2010 Author Posted August 12, 2010 We have discuseed there will be no sex until there is a commitment... Sorry, you cant have your cake and eat it too... We havent defined anything as far as relationship wise or put a title on anything, but I know he's not seeing anyone else and at this time I'm not either.
