He is a very shy and reserved type of person, but I have seen him staring at me very obviously on numerous occasions. About a week ago I smiled at him very flirtatiously and him smiled back but still no conversation. So the other day I saw him wandering around my department after his shift had ended. I finally had the nerve to talk to him, so I said hi and called him by name. Well he had a very positive reaction. For starters he looked really happy that I finally acknowledged him, then he smiled and asked me how I was doing. So based on this, do you think he still likes me?

If you caught him looking at you at numerous occasions and he seemed happy when you talked to him then its rather obvious he is interested. Keep on showing him attention until he asks you out. But if he is painfully shy then you will have to do all the work unless you dont want someone who is too shy.

I'm pretty much the guy you're describing, and when I read your post, I was afraid you were talking specifically about me until I got to the end where you talked about the conversation you two had. Nope, don't think she knows my name yet. That said... Keep on showing him attention until he asks you out. But if he is painfully shy then you will have to do all the work unless you dont want someone who is too shy. The above is pretty much it.

Yes op it sounds like hes interested the fact he was wondering around YOUR department when he knew you would be around prob isent a coincidence...

Does she know that you are interested, and has she shown interest back? I'm just curious to know why he hasn't asked me out yet and thought you could give me so advice. Also, what could I do or say to him that would make him want to ask me out for sure"
