monkeymaid Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 why are so many people so calculating when it comes to dating? why do you have to ask how many people are you seeing? what are your intentions? why does everything have to be communicated verbally and placed into a flow chart then an algorithm just to see if we are compatible?? i mean really? are so many people that insecure that they cant figure it out without extensive analysis and reinforcement from their friends and family? then a shake down, extensive interogation, background check, security clearance, and full transcript disclosure? ....i mean i got a 2.6 gpa in high school, and want to be a statistic and live a rigid unorganic life where my wife will tell me that i need to wear tommy bahama ****, a man pursem, make $86,327 a year with a 6% raise annually at a constant inflation rate of 4% blah blah blah. ....what ever happened to falling in love? where can i meet a late 20 something with a smoking butt and a cool attitude that is open to the world and can take responsibility for herself without having demands that would confuse the most adept of computer analysts?? hahahahah ok, i have been hanging out with this girl who seemed cool at first but has turned out to be nutty! she sends me 7-8 texts for every 1 of mine, explains her past boyfriend insecurities and how they are applying to this thing we are in, what she is working on in herself, wants me to call/text her every hour or so anf then gets butt hurt when i make a sexual joke about her watching porn. ...shes way over sensitive and telling me how she doesnt appreciate it that i dont respond to her in a timely mannner, and wants to be the priority in her mans life becasue she was ignored in her past relationship. now shes got her eyes set on me and inm bnot sure how to get out of this one! she works 4 hours a week at my job which she started doing after i met her 6 weeks ago and is trying to get more hours! ideas?

If you want out of it, the only thing I can really suggest is to tell her, politely, that you don't think you're the man she needs or is looking for. Because it sounds like that would be the absolute truth.
a_woman Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 if you want to be helpful to her, maybe you want to tell her that she should learn to control her anxieties and to hold back. she might find that hurtful but hopefully she will learn from it. she does sound a bit too much
