She works on a different department to me in a large store and i don't really know her well. The most contact we've had is the odd friendly hello and a brief exchange on facebook. I know that our shifts don't match for the next few weeks so i won't get a chance to see her for a while so i'm left with 3 options - 1. Be patient and try to strike up a rapport with her when i get the chance. 2. Let slip to a mutual friend of ours that i like her and see what reaction it gets when it gets back to her or 3. Ask her out on facebook but i hate that idea...any thoughts?

I think what you should do, since your shifts are different is to come back to work when your shift is over and walk into her department to ask her out. It will really impress her that you took the effort to come back in the store to see her. Also don't get your friends to do the work for you it will make her think your don't have any courage. She probably already knows that you like her. Good Luck!
sbarrow47 Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 Yeah definitely don't do the friend thing. Just "happen" to walk by her one day and strike up a casual conversation. Don't even ask her out right then, say nice talking to you and walk away and let her wonder. Take it slow and casual.
