so_mo34 Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 if a guy has been casually seeing a girl for a year(sex relationship), but the girl really likes him but never said anything. does the guy most likely know that the girl likes him or is it possible that he has no idea? and if he does know, don't you think its mean to be trying to make her jealous from little things like showing her pics of his ex gf and constantly on his phone? say the guy is 35 and the girl is 22.

Serenitynow Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 In most cases, women are too subtle with their "hints" In her mind, she feels like she is taking a huge risk putting herself out there, when in reality, her actions are barely noticed. Women rarely initiate, so when they do take action, its such an uncomfortable situation for them that they think they are being super obvious. They are unable to see it from the guys point of view and realize its barely noticeable. Butterflies . . do you need help with learning how to quote ?

Why don't you talk to him. You have a right to know how he feel especialy if you guys are having sex and know each other over a year. Sounds like this guy might tell you he likes you but really what do his actions such as showing you pics of his ex tell you?

Women and men are different, men can happily have sex with those they may not 'like' as such, but they want sex, and it's on offer. Women rarely do this. Plus, you've been FWBs for a year, chances are, he's got a fair idea but still wants it as an FWB. See, women and men do things very differently. As SerenityNow pointed out, we think we are giving the biggest clues in the entire world, practically scribbling 'I like you a lot' in capitals, in neon letters across your forehead, when in actual reality, you aren't. You're giving subtle hints, and men do not do subtle. Or hints for that matter. Something that would be very obvious to a woman, because we rely heavily on our intuitive skills, men are oblivious to. You are going to have to lay it out for him if you want more. See, I think he knows you like him, but may not realize that you want more out of this than what you are currently getting, and so, you need to be the one to tell him that. I can't tell you why he is showing you those pictures, or whether he is being mean or not, but if you want to change the nature of the R, then you need to speak up.
