FearandLoathing Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 Hey everyone , just looking for a bit of advice for a little problem I've got. I'm interested in my brother's best friend but I'm not sure if I should even bother trying given the relationship they have? He's been interested in me, apparently, for a few years now and I just recently discovered that he's pretty amazing I'm not even sure how I would go about doing this, as he doesn't think I'm interested and this would be the first relationship since a bad breakup almost a year ago for me. Is it okay to date a siblings good friend (potentially)? I feel so new to dating again, please help lol (apologies if this is messed up in any way, I'm typing on a silly iPod)

Feelin Frisky Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 Sure it is OK. Sometimes the sibling might not like it but tisk tisk--you're still his sister and he'll adjust to having his friend date you. As an aside, I had a freind who tried to date my sister. I couldn't care less. But he was so self-convinced that I objected that he became aggresive towards me. I had to yell at him and threaten to bust his lip for him while telling him I have no feelings one way or the other about he and my sister. I think he believed me when I got that pissed with his hang ups and I actually grabbed him by the lappells. It ain't my business and you've always had my blessing I assured him (with clenched fist).
