sweetblubrry Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 Our first date was June 23rd and we made it an official relationship on July 20th... his birthday is Aug 21st so that is one month of being officially together. So what is a girl to do for his birthday? lol I imagine not be too over the top but have to do something.
Author sweetblubrry Posted August 6, 2010 Author Posted August 6, 2010 Oh... he is turning 25 if that helps.
that girl Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 At the one month mark, I think treating him to dinner or cooking him dinner could be enough of a gift. But maybe he already has other plans. For a gift, don't get him a gift certificate or any kind of photo. Something he's wanted like a DVD box set could be nice.
skydiveaddict Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 buy him a skydiving lesson for two (you and him obviously).

So what is a girl to do for his birthday? lol I imagine not be too over the top but have to do something. It's impossible for me to make a recommendation without knowing him. I can say: 1.) If I'm officially with someone, they're getting an actual card/gift AND I'm cooking them dinner/taking them out. To me, both are. . . I wouldn't say "required" exactly, but it just seems the right thing to do. 2.) At that stage, I'd likely spend something in the lower range (under $50). I'd try to make sure it was something thoughtful, but then, I usually do. I prefer to pick out gifts that are fairly tailored to the person, of course. I hate gift cards generally! But that's just me.
