So every now and then I browse craigslist looking for an interesting post. It's 95% utter crap, but every now and then some gems pop up. And plus it can be pretty entertaining when I'm bored haha. Anyways so I hadn't responded to any in a while, but I just sent off two responses today, and was curious what people thought of them.

By the time the police arrived, he had already woken up! =D

Corny jokes aside, here are 13 reasons why we should be each other's summer fling:

1. I'm a rising senior at UCLA who is also in Westwood for the summer.

2. I'm a tall, athletic, and white, and have been told that I am attractive/cute

3. I'm not looking for a serious relationship right now, but would not mind meeting a cute girl to share some adventures with this summer.

4. I am easy going, friendly, outgoing, and confident.

5. I have a bit of a goofy side, but definitely consider myself a "cool/social" nerd.

6. I can appreciate your use of words like cerebral and zest, and will engage your intelligence with my own clever diction (or at least attempt to!)

7. I am teaching myself to cook this summer, and so far have succeeded in making a few decent dishes without burning the house down

8. I value meaningful connections, intelligent conversation, and paying attention to the important things in life.

9. However, I also am a huge fan of doing stupidly fun things and going on random adventures (let's get a bottle of wine and go watch the sunrise from the top the math building on campus? ya?)

10. I crack funny jokes, give really good massages, and take pleasure in making other people happy

11. I love playing soccer, going on hikes, or just going to the beach (although I usually have to bring SPF 45 sunscreen haha)

12. I'm a great listener, but I also know how to hold a conversation.

13. It's freaking summer time! and I'm finishing my full-time research project tomorrow! Let's go have some fun together.

So what are you doing in LA for the summer? Internship? How do you like the area so far?

I'm actually going home late tomorrow night for a week (I live close to SD), so if you are free tonight/tomorrow we should meet up.

P.S. I attached a few pics to the message, you should send a few my way!

Subject Line: so I'm a few days late..

I like checking craigslist when I'm bored (lots of ridiculous posts out there haha), but hey, I've been busy this week! so cut me some slack ;)

However I am sure that wasn't your first and last episode of boredom, and maybe next time I can serve as a fun distraction. I'm a rising senior at UCLA, living in Westwood for the summer. I'm very much a fan of random adventures, and enjoying them with a cute member of the opposite sex always makes it more fun. Going to a venice beach on a random afternoon, exploring campus late at night, these are things I definitely need to do more often.

I just finished listening to that Glitch Mob song you mentioned, and it was actually really good. I've been getting a lot more into house/electro music this year, and it's always good to learn about cool new songs. I like bloody beetroots, tiesto, bag raiders, deadmau5, and similar groups.

What part of LA you from? what you up to this summer?

Hope you are managing to keep yourself entertained =p

I attached 4 good pics of myself to each, is that too many? I tend to overanalyze things alot.. But I've realized that they usually won't respond, so I try not to waste too much time composing my responses. I've probably wrote 20-25 messages in response to craigslist ads in the past 3 months (when I started reading the ads lol), and about 5 of the girls have written back, is that a decent ratio?
