guess Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 I'm taking summer classes and well, I think that my professor might be interested in me, but I'm not too sure. Well, he learned my name quickly, but I did not think too much about it. As time started to pass by I noticed that he stared at me at times and i thought that it was a little odd. But seeing as I have always found older men attractive, I started liking him. He is in his earlier 50s and I am in my early 20s. I like looking at him while he is teaching class and I have noticed that he likes maintaining eye contact with me more than anyone in the class. The longest time he keeps eye contact with the other students is for about 2 seconds and we maintain eye contact for about 5 seconds. He is very polite with me more than with the other students.Whenever we are talking he likes to maintain eye contact for more than comfortable. I start getting a feeling in my stomach whenever this happens. One time in class we maintain eye contact for so long he even walked away looking at me and than forgot what he was going to write on the board. He also likes saying my name a lot and he also like staring at my face when we talk. Does he seem interested in me or am I just Imagining this. I like him because I find he extremely knowledgeable and kind. I also like his sarcastic sense of humor. Give me your opinion please, thanks.
xpaperxcutx Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 Sorry, but that's a little gross imagining a 50 year professor with a twenty something student. What is he trying to do, rob the cradle? Seriously, professors are off the limits, unless you want to mess with him for a good grade.
Knittress Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 It sounds like you're reading a lot into this. Sure, maybe he thinks you're attractive - guys are like that. But if you actually DO like him, I suggest you respect him by not putting him in a potentially awkward situation.
