Okay I am fresh back on the dating scene after being in a relationship for awhile. So I met this girl on an online dating site. We chatted for about a week and finally had our first phone convo today. It went really well we talked for 2 hours and really clicked well. We decided we are going to meet up for drinks but we did not pick a specific date yet. I don't want to come off too strong but then again I don't want her to think I'm not interested. Would a call or text tomorrow be too soon? When should I contact her again?

Next time try to pick a day on phone conversation #1.

I would call either tomorrow or saturday to try to get a date for tommorow or saturday.

There's a crapton of time wasters in the online dating world who will talk forever and never actually meet up so it's best to cut to the chase.

call her tomorrow

'I'm taking the car down to Chubby's tomorrow night and would love for you to join me. I'll pick you up at 7. It's casual; just a bunch of car nuts.'

Call her tonight.

If no joy, do what I do. Mingle with all the other single ladies who have discovered an interest in cars in their 40's and 50's. Opportunities come in all forms.

The key is doing what *you* want to do, whatever that is. If she's on the same page, bonus :)

Contact her sooner, rather than later- and get the date settled. You want to capitalize on the good feelings your phone conversation generated.

Give her notice for the date, at least 24 hours, but preferably 48 hours. If you want to see her Saturday, text her now, or tomorrow morning at the latest.

Easy, call her to confirm the date, and if her voicemail picks up send her a text saying "Hi, just wanted to set a time and place, talk soon."
