mortensorchid Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 Earlier this summer, I wrote about a situation I found myself in. I was throw over not once but TWICE within a span of two weeks. The first blew me off after two get togethers for someone else without telling me. Thanks to Facebook, I see that he now has a girlfriend and they praise each other with "I love you"s on each others' walls. I attempted to tell him that there are no hard feelings on my part (even though that is a lie) and I hoped they would be happy. I got a backhanded apology from him saying that things just came together as they did, but never did he actually say "I'm sorry". The second was a friend of his, who, as you may see in my previous posts, seemed to have duped me by using someone else's cell phone. I texted him after our get together, got a few curious texts from someone who identified themselves as his cousin's girlfriend. She (if that's who it was I was talking to) said that he went back to his kids' mother. I said thank you for the information and sorry to bother her. Never heard another word from him again, and he unfriended me from his Facebook. Thanks to their Facebook updates, I see that I really did dodge two bullets with them. The first one writes that he was robbed at gunpoint the other night, and seems to have dramas with his gf over their walls as they fight and make up. The second? Well, he's too much of a coward to do or say anything to me, and it is a blessing that he's that much of an ass to unfriend me from his Facebook to begin with.
Serenitynow Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 I dont believe in any of that karma, or things happen for a reason junk. But at least you came out of the situations on top. Red flags are usually there, keeps your eyes open again in the future
