My boyfriend and I are kind of shy, he hasn't really kissed me slowly like I'd like, so...

 

I'm considering asking my boyfriend if I can try something new, telling him to close his eyes and then kissing him soft and slow, like I want to be kissed (when we kiss, it is just a quick peck). Is the asking part weird?

 

Any advice? Been dating 8 1/2 months now; I'm 18, he's 16.
