kalikula Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 So I hooked up with this guy on the 4th of July weekend for a day or two (We were both visiting a friend) We ended up sleeping together, etc. (A little out of character for me ) I didn't give him my # because I was trying to keep it casual, but I added him on fb.. He fb chatted me a few nights and then got my # and called me. We were talking for quite a bit, maybe like 2-3 hours four nights a week. (We couldn't meet up because I live 4 hrs apart when I'm at school- and I'm away visiting my family which is like 8 hours from him lol!) The last time *he* called me was Friday... And then I called him on Sunday. I haven't really heard from him since then, but I texted him on Tuesday and he responded... And I texted him again today and asked him if he wanted to visit me next weekend since we talked about it before.. He didn't really respond so I called him out and said it didn't sound like he wanted to visit me. First he said he thinks he could visit me, then he said he meant he wants to, he just has to check his schedule.. And we had a flirty/joking text exchange for awhile. He also said he would be busy until Monday (He has a lot of stuff going on). Do you think he's lost interest or is it soon to tell..? Am I wasting my time here? Usually I would not even bother at this point because I'm the one who has texted him today and Tuesday and called him on Sunday, but up until Friday that he seemed interested and did all of the initiating texts/calls. Or am I being a little paranoid...? It's so hard to tell sometimes. Grr.
The Paper Knight Posted July 23, 2010 Posted July 23, 2010 My personal opinion is to never pursue a one night stand. Following them up with good intensions is a fools errand as the relationship is only built on the nostalgia of that one night. So don't take this relationship too seriously by trying to force it. Good-luck
Author kalikula Posted July 23, 2010 Author Posted July 23, 2010 I wasn't expecting anything to come of it, but he kept talking to me and got me interested...
