Davr Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 K, so there's a girl im kinda into but I would just like some input on if this is something to pursue, or not. Basically its a girl I worked with quite a while back. At the time, she was quite young... I was also involved so in my mind I never opened really to the possibility of being together. Besides a little flirting back and forth.. that was all that was there. So, now we flash forward 4 yrs later or so. I havn't seen her for a while and last contact was her leaving me a message saying to go visit her soon... soon!!!!! was her exact words. Anyway, Ive just never been the best at knowing if a chick is into me or not, and im wondering if this sounds like its worth a shot? This girl is amazing btw... still quite a bit younger(lol.. obvy) but not bad 28 and 22/23... what to do.. what to do..

Ladies.. have great intentions but bad results... when it comes to advice about other women Look, you obviously like her and would want more than friends, otherwise you wouldn't post this up on the forum asking for advice. If you go on platonic dates then you're in danger of heading straight to the friend zone buddy. Take her to something light but flirt with her, tease her, kino her (light touching *hand on her back walking through a door*). Maintain eye contact, make it known that you're interested by your actions. Go forth and good luck!

If it was within the last month or so, call her (don't text) and ask her out on a date. If it was more than a couple of months ago, I wouldn't ask her on a platonic date but I wouldn't jump into a date. Really after 4 months ot more, getting in touch will either confuse her (who is this guy again) or seem like a booty call. That is a time when some Facebook messaging prior to asking her out would be a good idea.
