jujubeans Posted July 6, 2010 Posted July 6, 2010 Well basically today I had the urge to paint, so I went to an art store to buy some canvases. When I got the canvas I was looking for and was walking towards the cashier, I noticed a cute guy look at me. I didn't really pay attention at first until he came around and told me he could help me at his cashier. So I walked over and when I first layed eyes on his eyes I got MAJOR butterflies and even felt like running away for a second because I was so attracted! Everything about him was perfect in my eyes. This has never happened to me before, ever. I'm the kind of girl that goes through guys fast so needless to say I'm easily bored and it takes a lot to impress me.... But after that brief encounter I'm still thinking about him and i really wanna go back to that store and talk to him but I'm afraid I'll choke up or something!! haha.
deux ex machina Posted July 6, 2010 Posted July 6, 2010 I'm the same way, it's rare that a man impresses me and stays on my mind. Sounds (potentially) hot. I say go for it. It's just saying hello, no one's going to die. You have to actually be in his presence for anything to happen, right? Not like he's going to magically appear at your door. A little advice: don't build him up too much in your mind. For all you know he could be unavailable, or undesirable for other reasons. Plus, it's not fair to you or him. I hope you update.

I know what you mean... it's the cute guy working at the ice cream counter, or the grocery store, or the front desk at the gym, or whatever, that looks at you and maybe flashes a certain smile and you kind of walk away acting like he didn't just sweep you off your feet in a subtle way.... If I were you I'd probably go back to the store again and look for him... but that's just how I roll. haha

This has never happened to me before, ever. This is best used as inspiration to assure anyone and everyone that somebody wonderful really could be around the next corner. It really isn't fair to be with "mis(s/ter) right NOW" if and when you have designs on being available to "mis(s/ter) right" when s/he comes along. (now obviously the person you/she saw could have been a serial killer, but no question he got your/her heart racing to rare extremes at this immediate stage)
