doomage Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Well the girl i stopped dating in the beginning of april, we only dated for three weeks, and she had herpes (not saying it's a mark on her, just saying), well i texted her on monday saying "hey" and she said "can you please stop contacting me, im not interested" and we started arguing and i called her a coward because she said she told me to leave her alone but she never verbally said anything she just shut me out, and i still tried to be cordial and friendly with her but she wasn't having none of it, and i deleted her number and deleted her off my friends list on myspace. So why do girls behave so cowardly? why don't they just say what's on their mind instead of ignoring people. she called me annoying too which was probably true since i kept contacting her even though she wasnt contacting me back, but as far as i can tell she deserved it for not telling me straight up the first time not to contact her so much. i wasn't even trying to get back with her i just wanted to talk or hang out.
Kaplan Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 I haven't got any insight as to why girls are like that sometimes, but I can relate to how annoying it is. I'm pretty sure guys are like that too though.
Author doomage Posted April 23, 2010 Author Posted April 23, 2010 ya i mean if i didn't call her that one sunday when i felt that she was acting distant and brought up the fact of why she was acting wierd, she probably wouldn't have told me what was on her mind. All i got was "im not looking for anything serious" which blindsided me since it hought she was looking for something serious. I can admit i probably did a few things to turn her off like being too available, and too affectionette, but still girls think their doing us a favor by keeping quiet and giving us the cold shoulder, i rather hear something straight up from a girl no beating around the bushes.
TaraMaiden Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Well the girl i stopped dating in the beginning of april, we only dated for three weeks, and she had herpes (not saying it's a mark on her, just saying) So why say it? What possible relevance does it have to your post? Absolutely none that I can see, at all. Except to maybe try to put her in a worse (promiscuous? flaky?) light... well i texted her on monday saying "hey" and she said "can you please stop contacting me, im not interested" and we started arguing and i called her a coward because she said she told me to leave her alone but she never verbally said anything she just shut me out yes that's right. It's called "No Contact". It's a method of shutting someone out of your life and moving on. Why did you not get the message? She made it quite clear.... and i still tried to be cordial and friendly with her but she wasn't having none of it, so you ignored her request to leave her alone then....? and i deleted her number and deleted her off my friends list on myspace. well done, that's the way. now leave it like that. and if she tries to contact you, then go No Contact on her. She wasn't being cowardly. She was maintaining No Contact and you were disrespecting her request. The same goes for guys, too...so it's very much an even thing. Going NC is customary, and advisable. i wasn't even trying to get back with her i just wanted to talk or hang out. And she didn't. there's your answer. bad idea to try to friendzone a person when the relationship's over, anyway. Really bad. It doesn't work.
