Tell her you know you know about just as much about the city as she does - and you guys should go one one of those city tours. I've ALWAYS wanted to do that in MY city. I think it makes more sense than to tour a foreign city. You get to spend the day together and eat cheap, and really get to know another. Plus, if you don't like her- you can keep the friendly vibe. Chances are, you won't be totally alone. But it easily can turn romantic. Dooo it! Marsle, you are f'in brilliant.

mixwell Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 In all honesty if you 2 have a lot in common and she is always around people if you want to ask her on a date, hangout or whatever you want to call just say "hey so and so can i talk to you for second and say something like "I know you're new in town blah blah blah but if you're interested there is a cool X (bar, movie, place to go with you two only) if you are interested in hanging out just you and her and that's it.. If she makes an excuse on why she cant go or even if she cannot go but makes a counter offer then cool or if she says she is doing X then ask about another day.. If she rejects the alternate day I would just say well here is my cell or (if she has your email or extension) just say contact me and let me know if you want to hang out or meet up and that is it... The ball is now in her court and if she has a lack or reply or whatever it should be a clear sign... The whole actions speak louder than words is true.. If this female is into you enough TRUST me she will pickup on your hints to hang out and IF she is interested to will make sure to email, call or let you know.. if she doesn't than it is a clear sign.. I think the common mistake guys make is by wondering " did she get my txt,email,call etc..) if she did and IF she is interested you can bet your ass she will make sure she will reply.. If she doesn't get back to you or whatever then it should be a clear sign. The nice thing with this is that IF she doesn't get back to you or whatever just think of it as a sign.. I would give it like 3 days max and i she hasn't responded to your invite then it should tell you that she isn't interested.. Pretty basic but again ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS and I am a firm believer in that saying because it is true.. Happy hunting bro !!

Author BlueHarvest Posted April 16, 2010 Author Posted April 16, 2010 OMG. Unbelievable... I was ready to pull her aside at lunch today. Literally just got off my lunch break and she was nowhere to be found, apparently the other team of trainees went out for lunch. The rest of us had lunch here at work. Now my only option is to "wait" for her in the lobby at 5 when we get off today and hope I can catch her...which seems rather "stalkerish" in my opinion. Any suggestions? Really could have had a good weekend suggestion too, air show going on this weekend. Seems like my life is the epitome of badly timed (non)opportunities...
