Ignoring the fact that someone will most likely say something like "Don't date your workers" or something along that line...

I just started a new job at this great company less then 2 weeks ago. Most of the girls in our training orientation are married, or in long-lasting commited relationships. (Ironically 2 of them got married during the first week on the job haha)

Point is, there is this girl whom seems to be right in my league. (Ignoring the bad movie of the same name that is out right nowand the bull**** it spews)

She's got a decent figure, not thin..but curvy. We chatted during lunch the first few days and we had a great conversation during lunch that was wierd because we had alot of similarities (like we both liked to eat tomatoes like an apple) and things like that. Well long story short....she's new in town, moved to the state for this job. She's got a few friends down here, but not alot. I only see her during lunch during our training courses, since she's in a different group. And it's never really alone.

I wanna ask her "out" to show her around, not on a date (yet), but to get to know her better...but I don't wanna be that creepy guy that asks girls out who start out at the new job.

Any suggestions? Thanks all!

Yea, Problem is...I don't know my own town that well...

I know a few things...but my friends laugh at me, they sometimes call me a tourist in my own town because I haven't done things here and I've lived here for close to 12 years...

I do know some rather out of the way nice spots, and a few great restaurants...but I'm no tour guide. I don't know alot of spots...

I second that. Sounds promising and not creepy at all.

Thanks!

There is one other problem...

My other problem is I never get a moment of where she is alone to offer to show her around...it's either in a big group settings, or at lunch (with the other trainees). And it would be awkward if she said no...especially in front of the other trainees...

I have a GREAT idea OP. Tell her you know you know about just as much about the city as she does - and you guys should go one one of those city tours. I've ALWAYS wanted to do that in MY city. I think it makes more sense than to tour a foreign city. You get to spend the day together and eat cheap, and really get to know another. Plus, if you don't like her- you can keep the friendly vibe. Chances are, you won't be totally alone. But it easily can turn romantic. Dooo it!
