In any case, we were both drunk and I realized after the fact that he wasn't the right guy for me. Fast forward to this week -- he sent me a note just to say "hi" and ask how I'm doing. Should I just ignore him to make sure he doesn't get any hope? It's been such a long time and it's not like we're friends or anything.

Ignoring does not work with guys like it works for women.

If he says "Hi" and you say "Uh i'm not interested" you would sound like a total B*TCH. You want to keep your reputation and dignity.

We no longer work together, we have no common friends... Just weird that he emails me after all this time.
