Lovelybird
Are you being desperate if you convert to a faith which you dont agree? you love the person very much but her/his faith requires you to convert or you cant marry. Or you wont convert to his/her faith and his/her faith is against someone outside his/her church but he/she loves you, she/he will hide from her/his church to be with you? what do you think? What advice can I give my friend who is doing this? Yes, that is desperate. Faith has to be something that you are so convinced deep in your spirit and heart. not pretending. Any cheating and lies won't bring good results, especially in a close love relationship. seems to me it will be a painful road. For example, when I believe marriage should be something that you try all your best to keep it and make it beautiful, while a unbeliever may think whenever the chemistry gone, it is over. in fact, the chemistry can return if both dedicate to work it out. so different beliefs means different dealings with things, different attitudes.
