There is no magic formula, which seems to be the premise of what the PUA manuals profess. It's either there or it's not. Speaking from experience I have never EVER slept with a guy who I didn't find attractive pretty much right from the get-go. He is not going to grow on me otherwise, not by a long shot, no matter what he does or says. The one thing I will credit to these pick up techniques is that it opens a guy up to more possibilities, he creates more game for himself because as he is out there trying with more women he also becomes more used to rejection. Something you CLEARLY have to get over in order to get to the woman you want. But can you make a woman fall for you just because you find her attractive? NO WAY. She has to find you just as a appealing or else zilch is happening. TRUST ME! And it works both ways a woman can't make a man fall for her just because she finds him appealing.

Besides that ... your a woman telling us how men think. Or is that what guys told you and you actually believe? Guys don't study PUA to find a bride! Not a lot of them anyway. lol! I'm a guy who browses the pua forums myself. I have that to base it on. A lot of guys on that forum are there because they're trying to get that one girl, or they're trying to find a woman they can spend their life with. Some are there just to get laid, but that's the same everywhere. You guys are making way too much of this. It's just a bunch of simple techniques to build rapport and lower defenses. No different than your boss saying "SMILE when you answer the phone! People can tell."

It seems like a lot of these guys put in too much work and make too big a deal about women, though. The Game (IMO) is very well-written and entertaining, and it's worth a read aside from trying to get anything out of it (a PUA how-to).

Men can be gatekeepers too Alpha (although the parameters for girlfriend are far different from "I'll have sex with her but that will be all"). And in each sex there are those that set that bar of entry at really high points, some on a different level, some then another level and so on. There has to be initial attraction. Some people are far pickier about some things than others while still others have very different parameters for initial qualifications of a partner (and so on and so on). As you said - the attraction and chemistry is either there or it is not. And that goes for both men and women.

Fack. the smart women care about brains. and people who have everything (money, looks, personality, social status) also care about brains. brains are running the world and there is a very high correlation between people with brains and how much power/money they have.
