The first time we met was a week ago for coffee and it went very well. I guess that may not be considered a date date, but it was good. I was out of town for several days last week so we got together again until today. We went to have dinner. When we met I gave her a kiss on the cheek and hug. After dinner she has to go back to her place, so I walked her to her bus stop. We talked about our schedules this week and agreed to go out again soon. So when her bus was pulling up we said goodbyes and I was planning on maybe kissing her then. I went in, but in the end, sort of kissed her in between her lip and cheek. After I don't feel it was awkward or anything, we just said goodbye, take care and talk to you soon. Now what do you girls think of this. Can this be seen as a good thing or not? Like I know it was not officially a kiss, but does this at least make her know I am interested? Should this make it easier to make a move the next time we go out? or could she have felt awkward? I don't feel like she just avoided kissing me, I think she was maybe expecting me to go for a cheek kiss so she was turning her head when I went in.
starryskies81 Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 She would have to be a fool not to know. If it were me, i would have seen it as cute if I was interested. If I wasn't interested i would have probably cringed a bit and made a face. I think it does set more grounds for a lip to lip kiss on your next date. My question is when you talked to her about getting together again. Did you actually plan a day? or was it more like "yeah so maybe we can do this again" Oh and for future reference, if a girl likes you, she likes you. A kiss on the cheek,lips,nose is gonna make her have butterflies
