I wanna get back into dating and wanna meet someone new. I'm soooo **** at this!!! I've met a couple of girls briefly at university since the start of this semester so I've got my eyes on a few....but....whats the best way to go about it. Like I've read guides and books on "how to attract women" but too be honest they all say "act cocky and confident" i find it all arrogant. What would be the best way to go about asking girls out on dates?

Confident is being sure of the positive qualities you DO have and knowing what you have to offer a woman. Just remember that you're not always going to bat a hundred - that is absolutely impossible. Just don't let rejection get you down. Some people will click, some won't. If you fall, just get right back up again and move to the next. And if you have the Australian accent, it's too bad you don't live in America because I know plenty of chicks that would dig the accent. LOL I know I do.
