d0ll Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Do you think it's normal for a straight male to 'hang out' with his gay co-workers after work to go for a drink or do you feel 'birds of a feather flock together' lol
lord alfred douglas Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 I went to go hang out at a gay bar here in town once. It wasnt anywhere as near as fun as the drag queen bar in Florida
Author d0ll Posted February 14, 2009 Author Posted February 14, 2009 that ain't normal. He is gay, bro that's what I was thinking but I could usually tell gay guys from straight guys cause it's usually way obvious so idk lol
zenith Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 that's what I was thinking but I could usually tell gay guys from straight guys cause it's usually way obvious so idk lol your gaydar is broken, bro
stepka Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 No, it's not usually way obvious. The way obvious ones are in the minority. Believe me, a man can fool his wife for 25 years--and everyone else too.

lord alfred douglas Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 I dont think its anymore necessary than being Irish in an Irish bar You can be in an Irish bar and not be Irish You can be in a gay bar and not be gay You can drink an Irish beer and not be Irish You can drink a gay beer and not be gay You can make out with an Irish person in the Irish bar and not be Irish You can make out with a gay person in the gay bar and not be gay etc
CommitmentPhobe Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 You can make out with a gay person in the gay bar and not be gay No you really can't. Have you ever made out with a guy? Not something I'd want to repeat.
zenith Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 ^^^^^ you can't compare the Irish with being gay, bro
zhsoj Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Been there, done that, not gay. I'm also pretty sure I'm not a lesbian when I hang out with my lesbian friends.
zenith Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Been there, done that, not gay. I'm also pretty sure I'm not a lesbian when I hang out with my lesbian friends. then you're bi, bro
Author d0ll Posted February 14, 2009 Author Posted February 14, 2009 also the fact that he "doesn't mind being single" also makes me wonder
Oliveman Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 also the fact that he "doesn't mind being single" also makes me wonder Gay guys don't like being in relationships?
Author d0ll Posted February 14, 2009 Author Posted February 14, 2009 Gay guys don't like being in relationships? no i'm wondering about that cause he told ME that when we were talking about relationships
movingonandon Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Men have love/hate relationship with gays, simply becaus deep down they know that they could be talked into anything
Nagini Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 that ain't normal. He is gay, bro a guy i used to date hangs out with his best friend's brother who is gay and all his friends i thought it was no big deal for a long time but now everything he does or likes screams in the closest he now has two persian kittens and talks about how precious they are he told me he is jealous of how perfect the gay dudes bodies and lives seem (they all have a lot of money) he talks about how fat he feels and how he works out at the gym alot. just strange things that make me think he is denying who he is.

runner Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Do you think it's normal for a straight male to 'hang out' with his gay co-workers after work to go for a drink or do you feel 'birds of a feather flock together' lol this line of thought just reeks of intolerance some on here might not think so, but there are gay men out there who actually live interesting lives and have things to talk about that don't involve their sexual preference. amazing how 'inclusiveness' can still be such a novel concept even in this day and age
SoulSearch_CO Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Being gay is not like leprosy - just because you're around it doesn't mean you're going to "catch it" or just automatically have it. Give me a break. I'm not going to get into this discussion, or I can see myself quickly getting upset. I think some of the comments are intolerant and/or narrow-minded, so I'll leave it at that.
Isolde Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 If it's just a regular bar, that is very normal. Gay or straight, people are PEOPLE and like the company of other people. How is it any different from hanging out with an opposite sex platonic friend?? Gay people are not a separate species...
Green Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 hanging out with a gay guy doesn't mean hes gay you'll need to give us more information then just that/
Author d0ll Posted February 18, 2009 Author Posted February 18, 2009 hanging out with a gay guy doesn't mean hes gay you'll need to give us more information then just that/ hmm well I just found out he spent Valentines Day @ his gay bosses house for drinks & tv surely I don't think any straight guy would do that!
lord alfred douglas Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 I dont think it makes you gay if you put gays in your mouth anymore than it makes you a spinach plant if you put spinach in your mouth
Touche Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 I dont think it makes you gay if you put gays in your mouth anymore than it makes you a spinach plant if you put spinach in your mouth Yes but if you stop eating meat and only eat greens and such then you're considered a vegetarian.
