Goatsbreath Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Brief history: She left me, moved out, saying she wasn't ready for something serious after 3 years relationship, haha, 12 year friendship saying she wanted to be free to come and go, no labels, I just need some time, etc, etc, etc. So now shes messing around with some married separated guy that has two kids which was her plan all the time. Shes 30, im 33. Ok, so Im on day 8 NC and Ive been doing ok. She changed her email password without me having to ask her or doing it myself. It was just information she had given me and was not comfortable having because the curiosity was to much. So now day 8 NC at all. One thing. I never really told her I was NC and she is the type that wanted to remain friends, blah blah blah, "its not like I never want to see you again" and such. I realize that after 12 years friendship I probably will accept a friendship at some point but not now. Here's the thing, her number comes up as unknown on my cell for some reason and so does my mom and a one of my friends. When ever I get one of these calls I don't answer and then call my mom or friend to see if they called. So far, there was only one call the last 8 days NC which could of been her because it was neither my mom or friend. Should I just answer my phone like normal and tell her I am NC or just keep doing what Im doing?

Let the phone go to voicemail and let her leave a message. Or do what you are doing and let it go unanswered and then check back with your Mom or Friend when you get a call. Failing that, ask your Mom & Friend to drop you an sms text before they call. A bit of a pain sure it is. But it's better than making you feel like crap ... do this at least until you feel healed enough to talk to her.
nature Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Just tell your mom and friend to leave a msg if they call, and you will call them back. Do not tell your ex you are doing NC. Just do it.
