Krytie TV
Oh come now, Star. That was a lame attempt at proving me wrong. Can you at least come up with something post 2006? That's a lifestime and a divorce ago. And it would help if the posts were actually mine and not some other guy's.
Author Star Gazer
Eh, what the he!!. For those of you who are interested... Let's call the guy who's the subject of this thread..."Justin" (since I don't know a Justin). Justin is out of town for the holiday weekend. I just received a text message from an unknown number that says the following (errors included): "Quite playing with Justin's feelings, if you don't want anything serious, ur fired! He likes u, but u need to hand out, ur not good 4 him. When ur ready for a relationship, get back to him!" Reminder: We've had ONE date, 4 days ago. We also spoke yesterday, when he suggested getting together next week when he returns. Sorry but... LOL!

As tempting as it is to respond, I wouldn't bother. Anything you say will be misconstrued, judging from the tone/ intelligence level of the texts. Justins friend has just done him an incredible disservice- how "high school" is it to get your "friend" to text the girl you like? I say- NEXT!
Prodigal Princess
Respond? No way! Those ridiculous messages do not merit a reply. Further, if you did reply, it would just lead to more immature texts. Don't waste your time (or money!). The friends a person has says a lot about them. Accordingly, Justin should be immediately black-balled!
Author Star Gazer
IGNORE THE TROLL LADIES! As tempting as it is to respond, I wouldn't bother. Prodigal Princess
I forwarded the messages to Justin, and he sent me back a few replies and apologized. Are you going to give this guy another go? If it was me, the damage done at this point would be irrepairable.
sb129
Are you going to give this guy another go? If it was me, the damage done at this point would be irrepairable. Me too. I just can't bear it when people a) can't spell b) interfere in their friends lovelives without good reason. Me, the troll? You were making trolling off-topic posts to Krytie just to embarrass him. Sorry - you have absolutely NO class and you are not an impressive person whatsoever. Welcome to LS, "newbie".
Lishy
Oh dear! Oh Star I am not sure how you should proceed Is he young? Damn why did that have to happen it has sure changed things - The silly girl who sent it (no boy would I am sure) has probably screwed it up for him! Arghhhhhhhh why is life so difficult! Jilly Bean
OMG! Did Justin tell you who sent you those texts? Personally, I think it was him using a friends phone...
Art_Critic
Reminder: We've had ONE date, 4 days ago. Jilly Bean
He texted you from a cell providers webpage.. manipulation...What a disrespectful guy.. Why do you think that, Art? I mean, couldn't it have been someone texting from a friends phone or something? Wouldnt the cell providers website require you to use your own phone? Just curious... Wouldnt the cell providers website require you to use your own phone? Just curious... On verizon's webpage it only requires info for the number you are texting and the message They do have a area for you to add your name and number but they are not required.. It's the only way I know of to send an anonymous text... I think it was him.. I mean what friend would do such a thing ?.. or what friend would even have SG's info to do that.. The date was just 4 days ago and they aren't 13 years old.. it has to be him. Maybe he was drunk or just a little crazy...
Trialbyfire
Regardless if it's a friend or Justin himself, this is really weird. He's mid-thirties so I'm going to assume his friends are also within the same generation. These are seriously childish texts.

Trialbyfire
Yeah.. no matter how you slice this one it is weird... There just isn't a good explanation for texts like these after one date... Drunk texting...anyone? A drunk child, perhaps?

To all the naysayers about NOT throwing him away after the comments and revelations, and all those who jumped on SG and the rest of us who thought she should proceed with caution, here is the proof of why. There is a reason us "bitter and jaded" chicks the way we do. It's because we have a lot more life experience in this regard, and after a while, you recognize signs that predict behavior. This couldn't have been a better illustration of that.
jerbear
Definately red flag, drunk kid texting from the web; probably not. I would say he is playing around by getting her to react. Less than a week goes by and she gets texts like these. I don't think even a drunk person or better yet a sane person would do this after 4 days. I'll pull a Dimitri and Olga by deleting the number. And I wanted to add that even if this is not Justin, if it's anyone associated with Justin (and it appears that it is) I'd say "buh bye." I mean who wants a guy with retarded friends you know? A guy's friends/acquaintances were always a big deal to me. Who one chooses to associate with says a lot about a person. And this isn't saying much about this guy. And why did those texts remind me of that answering machine message that Tan recently posted? Ewwww.
