Here's hoping you'll get good weather when she next visits!! Thanks, I hope so too. She actually got asked about the how the conditions were at the airport in Denver since it was moving toward Wichita.
swanee river Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 This Thursday the 10th!!!!!! I'm heading out to Atlanta on Wednesday. And-- we will be celebrating our 2-year anniversary that night!!! I can't hardly believe it! Who knew this lovely, special person would literally just walk into a room those 2 years ago and change my life so? And with all the ups and downs of her move away, and the fears I had of her walking out of my life in the process, I have to say I feel very blessed that we're still together. Better friends than ever, and a deeper romantic connection despite the distance. This will be my 7th trip to see her since she moved in July of '08. We were hoping she'd come out my way this holiday, but work commitments prohibited this. Well, here's hoping everyone here on LS gets to see their special person soon! Thank you all for being here, in the meantime--! SR

While Chicago is only supposed to get 4-6 inches of snow...the city I live in (many miles west of Chi) is supposed to get 8-12 inches. Add in extreme winds...and the drive to the airport tomorrow may be treacherous and take several hours

LittleTofu Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 It WAS 313 days and he was supposed to be home on the 7th... but now he had to reschedule till the 16th.. sooooo one more week! Tomorrow is our anniversary but he's not here. oh well. At least he's coming back soon!

It is negative 2 degrees here today with a windchill of negative 25 and the wind is unreal! But I am warm b/c he is home!! I'm thinking of all of you on this thread today!
