amayana Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 Guys. I'll be in up in the air in a few hours. I just wanted to say thank you to all of you for getting me through a year of transatlantic love. It will still be a while until we can actually close the distance, but the first part is done and at least we'll be back to being on the same continent. LS has helped me a lot, be it through actual advice or just lurking about reading other people's experiences. So thank you, from the bottom of my heart Good luck to you! I wish you all the best. My boyfriend and I are also on the same continent for the time being although we're still one timezone apart. Better than 6 or 7 definitely! 2

And he's looking for a job. I said I would pay him the trip beacuse I really want to be with him, but he's too proud to accept it.

My health is up and down but is 'behaving' well enough not to spoil things and the latest trip to the specialist was very positive. I'm happy to report that my usual LS time is being swallowed by more physical pursuits! :laugh: 5

A whole 9 weeks! :bunny: We're at my place in the UK - visiting family, going out with friends, trips to the specialist (yippee! ), lots of 'alone' time and making plans for our wedding early next year. This is the longest time we've had together so far and I think we've settled into it rather too easily! It's going to be a terrible wrench for both of us when he has to go back to work but we're ignoring that for now and just 'living in the moment'! :love: 3

Far North Queensland - in the rainforest - the same venue we had booked for 2011. (Just counting the pennies and cents to make sure it doesn't break the bank! ) I have to disagree on your 'better scenery' comment. I'm not going to give away my exact location, but I'm lucky enough to live in the most beautiful part of England. On my first visit to South Island we landed in Queenstown and I said "oh wow, I could live here, it's just like home!". That said, you do tend to have better weather! 3

It pains me not to be able to tell him because it would hurt him. The only thing I know for sure is that I love him and that's what I'm holding on to right now. 2
