HeavenOrHell Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Hopefully the end of April for 4 days, waiting to hear if he can get time off or not, I'll be pretty gutted if we can't meet up for his 40th, not that he particularly wants to celebrate it, he doesn't celebrate his birthdays much really and would rather forget he's 40 It's me who would be peed off if we couldn't, it would rub it in (again) the things we miss out on. 2

I definitely understand this. We make it priority to coordinate our travel schedules to be with each other on our birthdays... even if that means meeting half way and making an adventure out of it! 1

Still figuring out if we'll be meeting in a couple of weeks...otherwise it's Edinburgh in August for the Fringe Festival. 1

We should be able to do them together next year, and since they're two days apart I'm pushing for a vacation! 47 days-- and that's the end! 2

Thanks Things are going well, overall. We cannot see the end yet and sometimes we struggle because of it, naturally. This is harder than I ever thought it would be, but hey, I'm/We're optimistic about making it through this ridiculous distance It's not 100% confirmed, that's why I don't have a set date yet, but if all goes well, we should be together within a few weeks :) 2
