While it was relatively easy to handle, I couldn't help to feel a bit shaken. After lots of minor logistic issues (but that do add to the stress tensor), hopefully, he'll be here this weekend. After 5 months. I won't let myself get excited until the very moment I see him in the airport.

It's always hard saying bye. It's amazing when you come or see them but when you have to go back to I miss this or that. It's awful. Won't see her again till December or January.

Ani Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 So it seems I really hit it off with one of their friends and she would let me stay over her place when I go visit. Which means my traveling expenses have almost 1/4th. Instead of paying for hotel and flight. I just have to play for the flight which is almost 200 and the hotel around 500-600. Really happy. I could afford to see her monthly. Just need to organize my next semester school schedule for this. I also have an unrelated question. Anyone know if I can transfer to a different college for a semester? 1

His flights from Moline to Chicago to London in December have been cancelled a few days ago and I'm so anxious he won't be able to re-book it, thus not being able to come see me... Fingers crossed everyone... This is such a pain.

Incidentally, he is from the UK. Part of the reason he's not coming is that he was on vacation in Thailand (sigh) and so they sent someone else here to do part of the job, but apparently he was really quick so did most of the job that my bf was supposed to do when he got here this coming Thursday. Well, serves him right, I suppose, for going to Thailand. He is having a rough time, because they intend to cut back on staff, and someone is gonna get fired tomorrow, and no one is sure who will go... Maybe it's him, or maybe it's someone else. I'm too scared to get news from him tomorrow. His blood pressure was 180/18 today, which is almost bordering on a heart attack.

I hope everything went well for him & that he's calmed down a little. It would be awful in so many ways if he lost it. Well, they say that after a holiday people tend to be more stressed when they get back to work as they're no longer used to the daily stress that work induces. I guess that didn't help him much! Is there any way you could go see him?

Has she never been or is it something recent? It'd make sense if she felt like that, especially in a LDR since you don't spend much time being physically intimate with each other. In my opinion it'd be much worse if she said she was just attracted to you physically but not in love with you. I understand that both factors are important to a relationship, though.
