folieadeux Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 I haven't seen my SO since Labor Day weekend. She was supposed to fly out for Winter vacation but she got sick. Now idk when I'll get to see her. I want to the last weekend of January or perhaps surprise her for Valentine's Day. The wait and patience is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. A V-day surprise sounds awesome!

I was having some last minute concerns and managed to speak to him. We skype-ed and I felt better. 3 MORE DAYS before I'm on a plane and out of here!

folieadeux Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 Good, good, CE! I hope the weather has been treating Pyro nicely. Did you guys have a wonderful new year? We had our best visit to date. Christmas was wonderful. His mother got completely intoxicated and punched me. Twice. =/ But she had good intentions. We had another quiet new year, next year I told him we have to go out and get filthy drunk and party hard. The sex was amazing... actually saying it was amazing would be understating the fact... it was emotionally and physically fulfilling in the most amazing way, to say the least. But now my guy is back in Michigan. The depression has sunk in pretty heavy this time around. It was bad last time, I'm hoping the moodiness won't linger the way it did before. I don't see him again until the end of Feb/first week of March. I also asked him to move in with me for the summer, and although he says there is a chance, I believe it is slim. He really wants to get a summer job with his childhood best friend, and since this will be their last summer in the same state I don't want to push the issue and rob him of the moment. We should be in permanent residence together by fall. Glad you had such a great visit!!! Your emotions sound exactly where I'm at right now. I'll be making the trip to my boyfriend on the 19th of February; but I won't start the official countdown yet until the plane tickets are purchased. thank you! i had an amazing time with him and he proposed on new year's eve we're now engaged how was yours? Our new year was great, we had a great spot at NYE and he surprised me with my engagement ring in the most romantic way possible. He's a sweetheart. he leaves in 4 days though. Ok. She brought up my insecurities (to his family members) about 1) him being younger than me 2) if he will realize in the future that he wasn't ready to settle with me and 3) regrets not dating around. But she brought it up in a "Can you believe she is worried about this?!?" sorta way. Then she said... and this is a direct quote... "He loves you!" *punch* "You're his true love!" *punch* I was more embarrassed that she brought up my insecurities than her actually hitting me in front of everybody. That definitely can be awkward with her bringing up stuff that's a little too close to home in front of everyone...but it sounds to me that that was her way of welcoming you into the family. I'd take it as a good thing, just don't punch back.

Should be interesting going to work tomorrow, I'm miserable. :( I don't know when we will see each other, so we won't have a countdown for awhile. Hopefully they get to my visa application next month. I'm so glad this is the last time we have to do this. It's horrible spending so much time with someone and they're gone just like that. Ok. Time for ice cream and lots and lots of Glee.
