I've stayed sober for four months, but f*ck it. This sh*t is killing me but i'm so bored and miserable and dissillusioned with everything, I don't see how it makes it any worse. At least I can still feel it and I can't feel so many things anymore. And tonight the warmth of the pint glass. She never lets me down.
I've been trying to stay straight to write, but I keep obssessing over the whore who wrecked me, or I should say the whore who let me wreck myself and i keep staring at the page and staring at the page and nothing comes out like a geriatric trying to take a piss. Just nothing but fear and futility. And so f*ck art.
Art is a poor substitute for love anyway. Both cut your emotions to the quick, but art is the poor man's version of love and everybody knows it. They are the two avenues through which a person expresses their awe at the universe. both are motivated at their center by a need for immortality, but art is the loner's way, the loser's path. That's why so many great artists are losers. And drinkers. Here's to you.
Artists are generaly more emotional.....which does not = loser.
alcohol does nothing but delay the emotions you think you are drinking away. but those emotions are just waiting till you are sober up again, then they will creep out and be addressed....and you will STILL have to deal with them.
Might as well get over it now, instead of delaying and dwelling on the inevitable.

If I offended you, then once again Touche I apologize. I have an attraction to black humour, because my life is no where near where I want it to be, and so it's generally the more bitter ironies that appeal to me.
But, there's nothing humorus or amusing about an entire race of people being systematically tortured and killed. I also find it offensive, and I'm one of the more liberal minded people on this site.
I hope that if anyone is jewish on this site, that they either a) don't see your avatar or b) think you're too pathetic for them to get angry
Irony is when you leave 2 hours early to catch a flight only to have it delayed. Or, when you meet someone you have an incredible connection with, but are in a great relationship with someone whom you adore. That is irony.
Yours is more cruel to people who don't deserve the brunt of your bitterness, having gone through quite enough themselves.

B4R, you started this post about something else entirely , wanting to move towards alcohol and about your inability to write .Whats going on with you ?Is this really about the ex moving on and having it in your face or it there something else going on?
I too was disturbed at that comment and don't know what it is supposed to mean, if anything considering his avatar is a mosquito sucking blood. Maybe he is a wannabe artist hoping to elicit controversy?

Ah yes, I don't understand him, so he must be evil, sick, disgusting -- all those feelings are going through his head and motivating him to choose this path.
I have read several of this poster's (burning 4 revenge) other posts, and have noticed he tends to use humor and comments designed to shock or repulse. It's a technique he apparently applies to push people away. It's part of his self-fulfilling prophecy. Everyone, including himself, thinks that he is disgusting, and unworthy of love, therefore he continues to feel badly about himself.
It's sad to see people like the poster above me, pointing fingers, accusing, and like a pack of wolves, angrily attacking someone for being different. Driving them out of the pack, and destroying everything they do not understand, with vast sweeping accusations that serve only to make them feel better for their inability to cognitively process information that is too foreign to them.
Hey, it's not my theory just a possible explanation. Some people have challenges that result in them saying inappropriate things without realizing that what they said is inappropriate. That could be the case here or he could be something else.

Obviously , if you are farmilliar with this poster , it was meant to be connected the avie and the laocation. Personally , I find his buried wit to be quite subtle most of the time (the earmark of intelligence) the kind where you must look for the punch line .The I had an abortion avie was genius. Perhaps the OP dos'nt care if anyone finds it innapropriate.And if we do it's not really their problem , its ours. Oh and please don't get touche started on any for of mentall illness , she dosn't believe any of them exist .She will not see reason on this , not our reason anyway.

As for seeing it first hand, Erika, sorry but I'm not convinced you saw anything of the sort. You can't "see" it. You might think you saw behaviors that you believe are classified as ADD/ADHD. I've done the research too. And have "seen" people who have been diagnosed as such but all I "saw" were people. People with behavioral differences just like all the rest of us. I didn't "see" ADD or ADHD.

No, of course I didn't literally SEE ADD/HD. I just meant I saw my sister in law, and the way it affected her. Obviously you haven't done alot of research. And I prefer to go by seeing it first hand, and how things affect people. For whatever research you found saying it doesn't exist, there are 1000 other resources out there saying it does. I didn't know it was such a touchy subject with you Touche, but then again, alot of things seem to be touchy for you..
