What happens when you die?

loveregardless

you are both acting very silly.

what was he doing before he created us...there was never such a time. time is an illusion and all things that have happened or will ever happen are happening now. the present is the only moment that is real...and if humn beings hadn't created time to make sense of their materialistic (heavy) thoughts then we would not be asking such questions in the first place.

this is something I consider to be true based on books that I have read about time and true reality. during such "events" as out of body or near death experiances...even some hallucinogenic expericances as a result of ethnogens in the body, take place with no relevance to "time" or "space" as reality...60 seconds can feel like forever...or a lifetime persay...as I always say...research, research, research!

the one ethnogen in particular that i am referring to is saliva divinorum in case you are interested I would do some reading on "trip" reports on the wesite http://www.erowid.org this is just something to consider when adressing the issue of the reality of time, not a suggestion that any of you try such an ethnogen as these are very dangerous and life changing plants used my shamans and teachers of all ages. Caution to all.

We're ok dombo.....Pap, Dyer, Moi, me and alot of others sometimes gets a little too carried away, and silly...sorry.....but I'm curious as to why you would think the dead would come back?

I think this question that what wil happen after death is stongly connected to this question " what is the aim of man, what is the aim of creation").

If there is no life after death, why should we suffer in this life that much?

This questin of coures connected to the other question:" Is there any aim in creation at all or not?" and this comes with it the question of if God exists of not?

......

I think that is a complicated issue.

It's definitely a complicated topic. When you come up with an answer to one question it only leads to another question :)

I'll admit that a belief in an afterlife, unlike (for me) a belief in God, is purely inductive reasoning.

I don't blame anyone for not believing there's an afterlife, it's a pretty silly concept. While the belief in an afterlife is central to my faith, the belief that it actually exists is not--if that makes any sense, and I think you know what I mean.

My only hope is that there will be "Companions with beautiful, big and lustrous eyes ... virgin-pure and undefiled" – just as the Muslim prophet Muhammad promised in the Koran (Surah 56:22,35-36).

I think what dyermaker is an important issue that we see nowadays. I believe in something for some good but it doesn't actually matter if it really exists.

It is like: I love in god just because it calms me , it doesn't matter it really exists or not.

Dear Friend,

It's just like to imagine something and then fall in love with it.

We don't do that about money, girls, and all other attractive things.

You don't just sit down at home and imagine the best loving girl is sitting next to you or you may ask yourself if you are crazy ( if you keep thinking about it).

I dislike this kind of attitude very much .It basically originates from ago.

After death life exists because i like it to exist. ( you can change after death life with God, spirit or other things in the above sentence, it doesn't matter . It is all about ME).

I hope you not to take it personally. I don't know you. But I saw this attitude very much from different people.

Regards,

So true! I feel like sometimes I have to believe in God because that's the only thing that gives me hope and calms my anxiety about what's awaiting me in the future.

Thank you!

I believe that is the divine truth that God, real or imagined, has been trying to communicate with us for years.

we are SOULS. That live in individule bodys. We play a roll in life that predicts where we are going to go. What is in our hearts is what truly counts, since sin comes from the mind, never the heart! that is why your heart is pure, and it is the only thing that will tell GOD when judgementday comes how we truly were, and how we truly felt. There shouldn't be any confusion about GOD. There shouldn't be any debate. Just have faith because it is truly the only thing that will save you. NO Matter what u believe in. If you believe in GOOD, than good will come to you.

Isn't it much easier to believe in Satan than to believe in GOD. than its easier to lead a wrong life, than it is to lead THE TRUTH. THAT is why GOD gave us the free will of CHOICE. Your in full control of who u are and what'll you'll become of what he has given US.!LIFE!

I think we have to change the name of this thread to "God, sprititualiy, Judgement day, life after death, and more".

I wanted to say something about that judgement discussion and "bad and good"

Who is BAD, who is GOOD?

Here is my version of BAD/GOOD things,

Once upon a time, there was a bad and good. There were bad people and good people. Thanks to modern life , people's mentality are approaching together. Social standards are very high and people all over the world are getting richer and richer. In some country ( like where I am living) man talks about socialism and having an right for minimum income even if you are jobless. Anything is insured. Young girls like 17 ,18 years old have their own car ( excuse me , here is not America, having a car is not a MUST over here).

People are become the SAME person. There is no good or bad. People are all the same. There are societies in which there is no good or bad(in majority of course).

Figure it out for your own society. In one word

" Being good or bad is the result of decision that you make in your life. When most of things is taken care of for you( and that is the case in rich countires) you don't have to decide and you don't become good or bad. you stay neutral"
